LS is a music artist, radio personality, actor, and writer from Englewood, New Jersey. He began his music journey in 1995 with his former group, Orphanage. This group has graced the stage with the likes of Notorious BIG, Mobb Deep, Jay Z, The late Big L, Group Home, LostBoyz, Shahiem The Rugged Child, and the list goes on. After releasing 6 projects with their own money. Then in the year 2010 LS decided to leave the group and go solo establishing his own brand This Is Hip Hop. The purpose of “This Is Hip Hop” came to him when he was tired of seeking other platforms to listen to his music or interview him to gain exposure. LS knew that other artists shared the same frustration. That’s when the idea came to bring awareness to his music and others by showcasing unsigned artists on his platform “This Is Hip Hop”. On February 8, 2019, LS took his show to Internet radio to broaden the audience and give the artists a live platform to be able to showcase mainstream and independent artists, politicians, comedians, community leaders, and small business owners. “This Is Hip Hop Radio Show” airs 24/7 and goes live from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays. Today, LS and This Is Hop Hop brand continues to push the culture forward while becoming a fixture in the entertainment industry.
